You can find our Lufthansa Airlines office at C-507, Mahindra Apartments. It’s a bit unusual being in an apartment complex in New Delhi, but it works for us. We handle a lot of the local coordination and ticketing issues that pop up for travelers. It’s not a big airport counter with long queues; it’s more of a quiet place where we sit and sort out flight details on our computers. We deal with a lot of phone calls from people asking about their luggage or wanting to change their flight dates. Since we are based in Mahindra Apartments, we have a pretty steady environment, though the doorbell rings more often than you’d think. We are just a small group of people who know the airline business and try to make sense of all the rules and regulations for our customers. Sometimes the systems are slow, or we have to wait for an answer from the main office, but we always stay until the job is done. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big lobby. It’s just us in a regular room with some desks and a lot of filing folders. Being in this part of the city means we see a lot of the daily life of New Delhi right outside the gate. We’ve been here for a while now, helping people get their travel plans in order without too much stress. It’s just steady, daily work for us.
