Lodi-Garden Restaurant N.Delhi

We are located at 64 Bapu Park over in Kotla Mubarakpur. It is a busy little corner of New Delhi. The restaurant has been here for a good while and we see a lot of the same faces every day for lunch and dinner. It's not a huge place, just a few tables and a kitchen that stays pretty hot all through the day. We focus on getting the food out fast because people around here are usually on their lunch breaks or heading home from work and they don't want to wait. The smells from the kitchen usually drift out onto the street and let people know we are open. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls or expensive furniture. It is just a place where you can sit down and eat a meal. Sometimes we run out of certain dishes if it’s a particularly busy afternoon and we can't get more ingredients in time. We buy our vegetables from the local market nearby every morning to keep things moving. The staff is just a few of us who have worked together for many years now. We know how each other works without having to say much. It gets loud when the lunch rush hits and the dishes start clattering in the back. We try to keep the floors clean but with people coming in and out from Bapu Park, it’s a constant job for us. It is just a regular neighborhood spot.
