Lodi Restaurant

Lodi Restaurant is over at H-5 in the Delhi Jal Board Staff Quarters. It’s a bit of a specific spot in Jhandewalan, Karol Bagh. If you know the New Delhi 110005 area, you know it’s always moving. We aren't in some big shiny mall or a high-street corner. We are tucked into the quarters area, which makes it feel a bit more like home for us. The kitchen gets hot, and the staff is usually running around trying to keep up with things. We’ve been in this spot for a bit, and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of the building. It’s not the most modern place you’ll ever see, but it has its own character. We don’t go in for all those fancy decorations or expensive lighting. We just have tables and chairs and food. Sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble because it’s an older area, but we fix it and keep moving. Most of our neighbors are people who work for the city, so it’s a grounded kind of atmosphere. We open the doors, prep the ingredients, and wait for people to show up. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but that is what we signed up for. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us in Karol Bagh, doing our thing every single day. We are just a local spot for a good meal.
