Live Media

Live Media is located at 1622, Gulzari Gali in the Kotla area of New Delhi. Gulzari Gali is one of those narrow lanes that is always full of life. It’s a bit hard to bring a big car down here, so most of us just walk or use bikes. The area is old and has a lot of character. We work out of this small space every day. It’s not a shiny media house like you see on TV. We have our equipment and our desks, and it gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that. Being in India, especially in a place like Kotla, means there is always something interesting happening right outside our door. We record things, we edit, and we talk a lot about what’s going on in the city. The 1622 address has been our base for a good while. We know the people who run the shops nearby. Sometimes we get tea from the corner and talk about the day's work. We don't use big words to describe ourselves. We are just a group of people working in media in a busy Delhi lane. It’s loud, it’s dusty, and it’s home for Live Media. We just keep doing what we do and try to stay productive.
