Life

We call our little operation "Life," and we’re based out of Flat 19 in the D.D.A. Flats, Pocket-1, Sector-23, Dwarka. It’s a regular residential flat that we’ve turned into our workspace, so it definitely doesn't feel like a typical office. Living and working in Dwarka is nice because it’s a bit more spread out than the center of New Delhi, but it still gets plenty busy. We don’t have a big team or a fancy entrance; you just come up to the flat like you’re visiting a friend. The living room is where most of the work happens, with a few desks squeezed in near the windows for the light. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside in the park, and you can hear them while we’re trying to get through our tasks. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything, we just focus on whatever is on our plates for the day. Sometimes we lose track of time and realize it’s gotten dark outside before we’ve even thought about dinner. It can be a bit cramped when we have a lot of stuff delivered, but we make it work. It’s just a small, honest setup where we do our thing and try to keep life simple, which is why the name fits us so well.
