We are over here at 29A Sarai Jullena. It is a bit of a tricky spot to find if you aren't looking closely, right in that busy part of New Delhi. The office isn't much to look at, just a few desks and some old filing cabinets that we should probably replace one of these days. We have been in this building for a while now. Most mornings start with someone going out to get tea for everyone because the electric kettle we have in the corner takes forever to boil. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and people walking to the market, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just sit here and do our work. There are four of us usually, though sometimes it’s just two if the others are out on errands. The walls are painted a kind of dull off-white color that’s starting to peel near the window where the rain hits. We don't have fancy signs or a big lobby. It is just a practical space where we can get things done without too much fuss. Sarai Jullena is a decent enough neighborhood, even if the parking is a nightmare most afternoons. If you ever come by, you’ll probably see a couple of motorbikes parked right out front. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the paperwork piles up on the big wooden table in the middle of the room. It’s just how we run things here at Lici.
