If you walk through Mohla Maharam in Shahdra, you’ll eventually find house 6/44. That’s where we are based. It’s an old part of Delhi, very crowded and full of life. The streets are narrow, and there’s always something happening right outside the door. We aren’t a big company with a flashy lobby or a reception desk. It’s just a room with some desks and a lot of pens that always seem to go missing. We handle various tasks for people, mostly stuff they don't have time to do themselves. It’s a bit of this and a bit of that. The office smells like incense in the morning because the owner likes to light a few sticks near the entrance. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, and we watch the rickshaws go by while we work. It’s a lot of coordination. Phones, emails, and notes scribbled on bits of paper. Sometimes we lose a notepad and have to search under the desks for ten minutes. It’s not a perfect system, but it works for us and the people who use our services. We’ve been in Shahdra a long time now. Most of the staff live nearby, so we just walk to work. It’s a local operation. We don’t use fancy software, just the basic stuff that gets the job done. It’s a bit noisy, a bit dusty, but it’s our space and we like it.
