We've been at this spot in A-68 DDA Flats Kalkaji for a while now. It’s a busy part of New Delhi, and honestly, finding the place can be a bit tricky if you aren't familiar with how the blocks are laid out here. We handle a lot of the hotel stuff from this small office. It’s not a fancy glass building or anything like that, just a regular place where we get the work done. Most days start with a lot of phone calls and checking on how the different properties are doing. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really loud, especially during the rush hour when everyone is heading back home to the flats. We’ve got a small team here. We mostly just focus on making sure the bookings are right and the staff at the hotels know what they’re doing. It’s a lot of spreadsheets and emails, really. People stop by sometimes thinking we are the actual hotel, but we have to explain we just manage things from here. It gets hot in the summer, but the AC works okay enough. We like being in Kalkaji because everything you need is right around the corner, from tea stalls to stationery shops. It's a practical location for us. We don't spend much time on decorations or looking corporate. We just want to keep things moving so the guests at the hotels are happy. That’s pretty much what our daily life looks like here in the flats.
