Left The Job

This area is usually packed with people and bikes. We have a small setup here where we spend most of our daylight hours. It isn't a massive corporate office with fancy carpets. It’s just a plain room where we do our daily work. Some people find the name of the place a bit funny, but we just went with it. Every morning we open the shutters and sweep the front a bit. The dust in Delhi settles on everything so fast. We have a couple of fans that help keep the heat away during the peak of summer. Most of our day is spent talking to people or sorting through the mail. We don't have a mission statement or any of those things you see on big websites. We are just here to do a job and earn a living. The local market is just a short walk away, so we usually get our lunch from one of the vendors there. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know. We close up around seven and head back home through the crowded streets of Ram Nagar. Sometimes the traffic is so bad it takes an hour just to go a few kilometers.
