Left The Job

The name "Left The Job" always makes people do a double-take when they see our sign. We are located at 98 Ram Nagar, which is really close to Krishna Nagar in Delhi. It's a bit of a maze around here with all the narrow lanes, but we like it. The 110051 area has its own energy. We aren't exactly sure why the name stuck, but it felt right at the time. Maybe because we all wanted to do something different. This place is pretty simple inside. We have some desks, a few chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of ideas. We aren't trying to be the next big thing or anything like that. We just come in, do what we need to do, and head home. The neighbors are mostly families and small shops, so it’s a friendly spot. You can hear the sounds of the street all day, from the rickshaws to the vegetable sellers. It keeps us grounded. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just have our tasks and each other. Sometimes we stay late when a project is interesting, but we usually try to leave on time to avoid the worst of the Delhi traffic. Ram Nagar is a good place to be if you want to stay connected to the real city.
