We are based at House No. A-9/1 in South Anarkali, which is part of Chander Nagar in Delhi. It’s basically a converted house, so it doesn't feel like a corporate office at all. We have desks set up in what used to be living rooms and bedrooms. It gives the whole place a bit of a homey feel, even though we are very busy with travel bookings and tours for Le Passage To India Tours & Travels Pvt. Ltd. The street outside is usually full of children playing or neighbors chatting with each other. It’s a very residential vibe. We have stacks of itineraries and maps lying around on almost every surface. Sometimes it gets a bit disorganized, but we know where everything is. The air conditioner in the main room makes a loud humming noise, but we’ve gotten used to it over the months. We don’t have a big flashy entrance; you just ring the doorbell and someone lets you in. Most of our work is done via email and phone calls, so we don't get a lot of walk-in traffic, which is good because there isn't much space for a waiting room. We usually take turns making coffee in the small kitchen at the back. It’s a simple, hardworking environment without any of the extra bells and whistles you find in bigger companies. We just focus on getting the tickets and tours sorted for everyone.
