Le Meridien

We have been here at the Dda Flats in Kalkaji for a while now. Most people know the name Le Meridien from the big hotels, but this spot is just our local setup in the neighborhood. It is not a fancy glass building or anything like that. We just work out of this flat and handle things from here. It gets a bit busy during the day with people coming in and out, and the parking around the flats can be a real headache sometimes, but we make it work. The office is pretty basic. We have a few desks, some chairs, and a lot of paperwork piled up. Sometimes the tea lady comes around and that is the highlight of our afternoon. We don't have a big lobby or fancy uniforms. It’s just us doing what we need to do. People often call us looking for the main hotel downtown, and we have to explain we are the branch in Kalkaji. We know the neighbors pretty well by now. The guy who runs the corner shop always says hello when we go out for lunch. It is a quiet enough place to get things done without the noise of the main road. We don't really have a website or a big sign outside. You just sort of find us if you need us. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, but it feels like home after all these years. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles of files just get too high and we have to spend a whole Saturday clearing things out.
