Lazeez Affaire

You can find our place in Muragachha, which is out in the Nadia district of West Bengal. Lazeez Affaire has been here for a bit, and we mostly focus on getting the food right for the locals and anyone else who happens to be passing through this area. The kitchen stays pretty warm throughout the day, especially when we have several orders going at once on the big stove. We do not have a massive staff, just a few of us who know the routine and how to handle the busy lunch and dinner hours. The floors get swept a lot because of the dust that blows in from the road outside, but we try to keep everything as tidy as we can. We source what we can from the nearby markets, so the ingredients are usually just what was available that morning. It is a simple setup with tables and chairs where people can sit down and take a short break from their busy day. We spend a lot of time prepping vegetables and making sure the spices are balanced in the pots. Sometimes we run out of something popular and have to tell the customers we are sorry, but that is just part of running a small place like this. The atmosphere is relaxed, and we do not put on any fancy airs or graces. If you are in this part of Bengal, you just stop by, eat your meal, and go about your business.
