Larsen & Tourbo (L&T), Ecc Division

This is the Larsen & Tourbo (L&T) ECC Division office, and we are based at 627 H/6 on the Ground Floor in Govindpuri. It’s part of the Kalkaji area in New Delhi, 110019. Being on the ground floor is actually pretty convenient because people can just walk right in without dealing with stairs or elevators. The office itself is pretty straightforward. We have our desks laid out in a way that makes it easy to talk to each other, which helps when things get hectic. Kalkaji is a really lively part of the city, so there’s never a dull moment outside our door. You hear the sounds of the street all day, which is just part of the background music for us now. We’ve got a lot of files and equipment around because that’s the nature of the work we do. It’s not a place that’s meant to look like a showroom; it’s a place where work actually happens. The staff here are mostly locals or people who have moved to Delhi for work, so we have a good mix of stories. We just try to stay organized and keep the projects moving forward. Sometimes the internet acts up or it gets a bit dusty with all the construction nearby, but we just deal with it. It’s a solid place to work, and we’re happy to be part of the Govindpuri community every single day.
