Lakesh Electronics

We are located in the middle of Chandni Chowk, near Kauri Ya Pull. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with all the carts and people moving around. Our shop is at Chandi Chowk 3, and it is filled with all sorts of electronic parts and gadgets. It’s a bit of a maze inside because we try to fit as much as possible on the shelves. Most days, we are busy answering questions or testing out pieces of equipment for people who stop by. The noise from the street is constant, but it becomes like background music after a while. We have been here quite some time and have seen shops come and go. It’s a tough place to work because of the heat and the crowds, but we like being where the action is. We don’t really use any big words to describe what we do; we just sell electronics. Sometimes we have to hunt through boxes to find a specific component someone asked for. It takes patience. My hands are usually a bit dirty from handling cables and metal parts all day. We drink a lot of chai to keep going. It’s a simple life running a shop in such an old part of the city. We just open the shutters and see what the day brings us.
