Kwality Communication

Down on Mandoli Road, things stay pretty hectic from dawn until way after dark. Kwality Communication is located right in the thick of it near Nabi Karim, and the address is 1004419 if you’re looking at a map. The shop is mostly just a place where we keep a lot of inventory packed into a small area. There are boxes stacked up to the ceiling in the back, and sometimes it takes me a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for. I usually have a cup of tea sitting on the counter that I keep forgetting to drink until it’s cold. The noise from Mandoli Road is constant, with trucks and bikes zooming past the door all day long. It’s a bit dusty, and I have to wipe the phones down every couple of hours or they look like they’ve been sitting in a desert. We get a lot of people who are just passing through and need something fixed fast because they’re on their way to work. I don't really believe in making things complicated, so I just tell people what things cost and how long it’ll take. The floor is a bit scuffed from all the boots coming in, and the door squeaks every time it opens. It’s just a regular shop where we do our work and go home to our families at the end of the day. It gets loud and messy, but it is home.
