We have two main spots where we handle things, one over in Virender Naga on the second floor of Street 3, and another in I.P Extension at Sagar Sadan. Having two locations keeps us on our toes because someone is always moving between the two to drop off papers or check on things. The Virender Naga office is up a narrow flight of stairs, which is a bit of a workout if you have to do it five times a day. Inside, we have maps pinned to the walls and stacks of brochures that we try to keep neat, though they usually end up in a mess by Tuesday. We spend most of our hours talking to families who want to go somewhere new for their holidays. It’s a lot of looking at screens and trying to find the best dates for people. In the I.P Extension office, it’s a bit more settled, but the phone still rings just as much. We have an old clock on the wall that ticks quite loudly, and sometimes we forget to wind it up. The desks are small, so we have to be careful not to knock over our tea when we reach for the stapler. We don’t have a big fancy storefront, just these honest spaces where we get the work done. It feels like a real community here, especially when regular customers stop by just to show us photos from their last trip.
