Kuoni Travel India Ltd. (Sita Mice)

Our branch of Kuoni Travel India Ltd., which handles the Sita Mice side of things, is located at Flat No. 588 in Sector 22, Dwarka. It’s a bit different working out of a flat instead of a standard office building, but it actually feels more comfortable that way. We have converted the main rooms into workspaces with desks and computers. Dwarka is much quieter than the rest of New Delhi, so we don’t have to deal with as much noise while we are planning these big trips and conferences. The kitchen area is where we keep the kettle and the snacks, and it’s usually the busiest spot in the morning. We spend our days organizing group travel, which involves a lot of shouting across the rooms to check on hotel bookings or bus schedules. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few calendars pinned up to keep track of dates. It feels like a very human way to work, honestly. We don’t have a big corporate lobby with a receptionist. You just buzz the flat and come on up. Sometimes the lift in the building is out of order, so we have to use the stairs, which isn't great for our knees. But we’ve been here for a while and we like the neighborhood. It’s a simple, straightforward setup for the team to get things done without any extra fluff or corporate polishing.
