Kuoni India Pvt.Ltd. is based at F-188 in Lado Sarai, which is right near the local primary school. Being near a school means the mornings are always a bit chaotic with parents and kids everywhere, but things settle down once the workday starts. Lado Sarai has a very specific feel to it, with its narrow lanes and all the small businesses around. Our office is a practical space where we focus on getting travel arrangements sorted out. There are maps on the walls and plenty of files on the shelves. We have been here for a while, so we are used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. The desks are usually covered in itineraries and passport copies. We drink a lot of local tea and talk about flight connections or hotel bookings. It’s a lot of staring at screens and making sure the dates match up. Sometimes the street outside gets blocked by a delivery truck, and everything stops for a bit while they clear the way. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we get the job done. We spend a lot of time talking to customers over the phone or helping people who drop by after seeing the sign. It is a lot of repetitive work, checking and re-checking details so nothing goes wrong with someone's trip. We just try to stay organized in the middle of all the paperwork and the noise from the school next door.
