Koti Resorts Shimla

We are located at 1556/3 Rajiv Nagar in Gurgaon, which is where Sahab Singh handles the office side of things for the resort. Even though the resort itself is up in the mountains of Shimla, our daily work happens here in the heat of Haryana. The office is a simple room in a house where we keep the registers and the phone. We get a lot of calls from people wanting to escape the city and head up north. Most of our day involves answering the two mobile numbers we have and checking the Yahoo email for new messages. It is a lot of writing down names and dates in a big diary. The neighborhood in Rajiv Nagar is usually quiet during the day. We don't have a big sign or a fancy lobby here because we mostly deal with people over the phone. It is a practical way to manage the bookings without being way up in the hills all year round. Sometimes the internet is slow and it takes a while to reply to everyone, but we eventually get to it. We deal with the logistics and the money part of the trips. It is just a small operation run by a few people who know the resort inside and out. We spend our time making sure the rooms are blocked off correctly so there are no surprises when guests finally arrive in Shimla. It is a long way from the mountains.
