If you head down Chakrata Road in Dehradun, you’ll find us at Street No.6, House No.1 in Ashirwad Enclave. This isn’t your typical big glass building you see in the movies. It’s more of a neighborhood spot. We work here at Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited, but it feels different when you’re on the ground in a place like this. The air is a bit fresher here than in the bigger cities. Most of our morning starts with getting the systems up and running and making sure the door is open for the locals who come by. We see a lot of the same faces every week, people coming in for their usual business. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out or use the backup. It’s part of life here. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to confuse anyone. If someone needs help with an account or just wants to check their balance, we just sit down and do it. The office gets a bit dusty because of the roadwork nearby, but we keep it tidy enough. It’s a practical place. We focus on the tasks at hand, whether it’s paperwork or talking to someone about their savings. Working in Ashirwad Enclave is pretty steady. We aren't robots; we're just people from Dehradun doing our jobs at the bank every day.
