We are based out of the Mahanadi Extension, right near the IGNOU Complex in Maidan Garhi. It’s a bit of a trek for some people to get down to New Delhi-68, but we’ve been here for a good while. The office is at L-08, and it’s basically just a few of us handling travel and tourism stuff. Being near the university means we see a lot of students and staff who are looking for cheap ways to get home or go on a break. The area around Maidan Garhi is a mix of old village vibes and the newer institutional buildings. Our place is pretty basic. We have some desks, some computers, and a lot of printed itineraries lying around. It gets a bit dusty because of the construction that always seems to be happening nearby. I spend a lot of my morning checking emails and then the rest of the day is usually spent on the phone. It's a lot of checking prices and making sure dates are right. Sometimes things go wrong with a booking and we have to scramble to fix it, which can be stressful. But generally, it’s just a steady flow of work. We don't really do the big corporate thing; it's more about just getting the job done for whoever walks through the door. The evenings are usually the busiest when people are done with their classes or work and stop by to finalize their holiday plans.
