Our office is located at 1506 on the second floor of Lane No. 2 in Wazir Nagar. This is right in the Kotla Mubarakpur area of New Delhi. It is a very busy, crowded neighborhood with narrow lanes and lots of people. Getting to the second floor involves climbing some stairs that are a bit steep. Once you’re inside, Knight Frank India Pvt.Ltd is just a regular office space. We have some files stacked in the corners and calendars pinned to the walls. The street below is always noisy with motorcycles and vendors, so we keep the windows shut most of the time. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just have our desks and our phones. Most of the day is spent talking to people and checking on things across the city. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take our only real breaks. The lighting in the back room is a bit dim, but we’ve gotten used to it. We know the other business owners in the lane, and we often chat with them near the entrance. It is a very local way of working. We don't use big words to describe what we do here. We just show up, do the work, and make sure the files are in the right place before we leave for the night.
