Kingfisher Airlines

Kingfisher Airlines is based at C 451, Malhotra House in the Arjun Nagar area of New Delhi. It is a pretty busy office where we handle all the day-to-day stuff that comes with running an airline. We aren't some big fancy corporate headquarters with glass walls and marble floors. It’s just a regular building where people come to work every morning. The traffic in Delhi can be a nightmare, so most of us are usually complaining about the commute while we have our first cup of tea. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through stacks of documents. It’s not always exciting, but it’s what keeps the planes moving. We’ve got a small team here and everyone pretty much knows each other’s business. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles during the peak of summer, but we manage. We don't really bother with those big speeches about where the company is going. We just try to make sure the flights are scheduled and things are running as smoothly as they can. The desks are a bit cluttered with old files and coffee mugs, which is how a real office looks if people are actually working. Being in Arjun Nagar means we are close to everything, which helps when we need to get things done quickly. We’re just a group of regular people doing a job that happens to involve airplanes.
