Kingfisher Airlines

The Kingfisher Airlines office here is at 1886 Kong Posh in Jain Nagar. It’s located near Sector-22 in Rohini, which is quite a distance from the main center of Delhi. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it’s much quieter than the rest of the city. The building is number 1886 and it’s not a very big space at all. We handle a lot of the local airline business and paperwork from this small spot. There isn't a lot of foot traffic around here most days, so it’s mostly just the staff working away at their desks in peace. We have a few computers and a lot of filing cabinets that are starting to show their age. The room is often a little dim because the windows are small, but we have enough desk lamps to see what we are doing. We spend our time checking flight schedules and dealing with all the little details that come with running an airline office. It’s a lot of data entry and making phone calls back and forth. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to say hello or ask a simple question about a flight. We don’t have any big signs or fancy decorations inside the office. It’s just a plain room with some basic desks and chairs. We usually bring our own tea and lunch because there aren't many shops right next to the building. It is a steady, quiet kind of job compared to the chaos of the airport.
