Our situation here is a bit different because we are dealing with things related to Bangalore and Karnataka, even though our address listed is 121001. We focus on the basic knowledge side of the airline business. It’s mostly about understanding how things work and keeping track of the various details that make flights happen. We aren't up in the air ourselves, we are the ones on the ground just trying to stay organized and keep the records straight. The work involves a lot of reading and making sure we know what’s going on with the operations. It’s a lot to keep track of, but we manage somehow by helping each other out. The office is a bit of a mix of people who have been around the industry for a long time. We don't have a big corporate headquarters with glass walls or fancy rugs. It’s more of a practical space where we can sit down and get through the mountains of paperwork. Sometimes it feels like there is too much to learn with the rules changing, but we take it day by day. We don't pretend to be anything we aren't. We just provide the basic info and help out where we can. It’s a job that requires staying focused on the small things that most people don't think about when they see a plane. It’s just us here, doing our bit in the middle of it all, day in and day out, making sure the knowledge is there.
