Kingfisher Airlines

Our office is located at 1-104 in Phoolbagh, which is out in the Pantnagar area of U.S. Nagar in Uttaranchal. It’s a fairly quiet spot compared to the big cities like Delhi or Mumbai. We’ve been handling the airline side of things for Kingfisher from this specific location for quite a while now. The building is a bit older than some of the others nearby and the paint is peeling in a couple of spots near the window frame, but it feels like home to us. We spend a lot of our time sitting at the computer systems and checking through flight schedules. It’s not always easy keeping everything on track, especially when the weather up here in the hills gets a bit unpredictable and messy. We have a small team here. Most of us live just down the road so the commute isn't too bad unless there’s a stray cow blocking the path or something like that. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just a few old maps and a paper calendar that someone forgot to flip to the current month. We just try to stay on top of the daily tasks as they come. People think of big planes when they hear the name, but for us, it’s just the daily grind of checking lists and making sure the paperwork is filed correctly in the rusty drawers. We take our lunch breaks together when we can spare the time. It’s just a regular job for regular people.
