Kingfisher Airlines

Our office is on the ground floor of A-68 in Defence Colony. It’s a nice enough area in New Delhi, quite green compared to some other parts of the city. We’ve been at this location for a while, working for Kingfisher Airlines. It’s where we handle the administrative side of the airline work. People often think it would be more glamorous because it’s an airline, but it’s mostly just us sitting at desks and handling customer queries or piles of paperwork. The office gets some good light during the day because we’re right on the ground floor. We have a small front area where people can come in if they have questions about their bookings. It’s not very big, just a few rooms joined together with some old carpet. The walls have some travel posters on them that have started to fade. We don't have a huge team here, just a handful of people who know the travel business well. Defence Colony is a busy spot, so parking is always a real headache for us and the visitors. We usually just take the metro to work or find a spot several blocks away. It’s a practical workspace. We don’t do much of the fancy marketing stuff here. We just focus on the daily schedules and making sure the information we give out is correct. It’s a steady place to work, and we like the neighborhood for the local food and coffee shops.
