Our spot is at 35, Satya Niketan, right in the middle of all the noise and students in New Delhi. It’s a busy little area, and being here means there is always something happening outside the door. Kingfisher Airlines has this office where we handle the day-to-day stuff. It isn’t some massive airport lounge; it’s just a regular workspace with some desks and a few old chairs for visitors. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking routes and dealing with whatever comes up that day. Satya Niketan has a specific energy, mostly because of the college crowd, and we definitely feel that. Sometimes the tea stall next door is the only thing keeping us going during a long shift. We’ve got maps on the wall that are probably a bit outdated by now. It’s a bit cramped when more than three people walk in at once, but we make do. The phone rings a lot, and we try to get to it as fast as we can. It’s not always easy keeping everything straight with all the changes in the industry, but we show up every morning and get to it. We aren't big on fancy decorations or anything. It's just a functional place where we do our jobs. New Delhi can be a tough city to navigate, but we’ve been in this corner for a while now. The printer jammed twice this morning, which is pretty standard for us, really. We just keep some extra paper handy.
