Kingfisher Airlines

Kingfisher Airlines has this office over in Rani Bagh, right on the first floor of building 1994. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs but we’ve been here long enough that we don’t really notice it anymore. New Delhi 110034 is a busy area, lots of shops and people moving around constantly. Inside our space, things can get a little messy with all the schedules and flight logs we have to keep track of. We aren’t trying to be some glossy advert, we just do the work that needs doing for the airline operations. There’s usually some tea being made in the corner and someone talking loudly on the phone about ground staff or maintenance updates. It's a practical setup. We handle the bits and pieces that make the flights actually happen, even if passengers never see this side of it. The desk drawers are full of old notebooks and spare pens. Sometimes the printer acts up, but we give it a kick and it usually works again. We’ve seen the area change over the years, but our little first-floor spot stays pretty much the same. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the shift. We just show up, do the tasks, and head home like anyone else. It's honest work in a busy part of Delhi. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the paperwork.
