Kingfisher Airlines Ltd.

Our office is on the second floor of a building in A-2/129, Paschim Vihar. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs if the elevator is acting up, which it does from time to time. This isn’t an airport terminal with planes taking off outside the window; it’s more of a place where the behind-the-scenes stuff happens for Kingfisher Airlines Ltd. There are lots of files everywhere and the phones ring more than you’d think. New Delhi can be a tough place to get around, so most of us are just happy when the commute isn't too bad. We sit at these desks and handle whatever comes our way, usually related to schedules or things people need help with. The 110063 area is pretty residential around the edges, so you see a lot of local life while walking to get lunch. We don't have any fancy decorations, just some old posters and maps on the walls. It feels like a real office where people actually work hard. Sometimes the tea lady comes around, and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. We mostly just focus on getting the tasks done before the sun goes down. It’s a simple space, nothing like the shiny airports you see on TV. We just keep things ticking along from our spot on the second floor in Paschim Vihar. We are just regular people doing the office work that keeps the airline side of things going.
