You wouldn't expect an airline office to be in an SFS flat on Rani Jhansi Road, but that’s where we are. Flat 26-D is where we spend our days. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than being right in the middle of a commercial hub, which we actually like. We’ve got some old aviation maps on the walls and plenty of binders full of regulations and flight data. Working out of a flat gives the place a different feel, more like a home than a corporate headquarters. We make a lot of coffee in the small kitchen and sit around the main table to figure out the week's priorities. The traffic on Rani Jhansi Road can get pretty loud during rush hour, but inside we’re usually focused on the technical side of things. It’s a lot of data entry and checking schedules to make sure everything lines up. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a uniform. It's just us, some computers, and a lot of passion for what we do. Sometimes we spend hours just looking at route maps and trying to solve logistical puzzles. The neighborhood kids play outside, and sometimes their ball hits the window, which usually makes someone jump. It’s just an ordinary office doing some pretty complex work. We’ve been here long enough that the guards at the gate don’t even ask for our ID anymore.
