We've been running King And Ferry Travels Pvt Ltd out of New Moti Nagar for a while now. Most people around here in Karampura know where we are, tucked away in Sh Block at 28 / 422. It is just a small office really. We spend most of our time dealing with tickets, bookings, and trying to figure out the best routes for people who want to go somewhere else for a bit. My desk is usually covered in papers and notes from phone calls. It gets busy, especially when everyone wants to go on holiday at the same time. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some chairs and a computer that sometimes acts up when we need it most. People stop by to ask about trains or flights, and we do what we can to help them out. New Delhi is a loud place, and our corner of it is no different. We just keep things moving as they come. Sometimes the printer runs out of ink right when we need to print a boarding pass, which is annoying, but we manage. Most of our regulars are folks from the neighborhood who have been coming to us for years. They know we are just regular people trying to get their travel stuff sorted without making it too complicated. It is not a glamorous job, but seeing someone get their trip organized feels okay. We are usually here from morning until the evening. That is pretty much how it goes with us.
