Kharbanda Enterprises

If you walk around Karol Bagh, specifically near Nai Walan, you'll find us at Shop No 1104/12. It’s been Kharbanda Enterprises for quite some time now. The street is always loud with people moving around and horns honking, which is just how it is in this part of Delhi. We open up the shop in the morning, dust the counters, and wait for whoever comes through the door. It isn't a fancy setup with glass windows and air conditioning that makes you freeze, just a regular place where we get our work done. Most days are pretty much the same. We handle the orders, talk to the regulars, and try to keep things organized on the shelves. Sometimes the tea man comes by twice, sometimes thrice depending on how much help we need to stay awake. People know the address because it’s been there for years. There’s no big sign with flashing lights, just the name above the door that everyone recognizes. We don’t really do much advertising because people just know where we are. It’s a bit cramped inside when more than three people stand in the middle, but we make it work. The shelves are packed tight. You get used to the noise of the traffic outside after a while. It’s just life at 1104/12. We don’t try to be something we aren't, just a local business trying to stay busy in the middle of a very crowded market.
