You can find us at Rz-205-B on Street Number 17. We’re in the Tughlakabad Extension area. It’s a lively neighborhood with a lot of people walking by all the time. We focus on food, which is why the place usually smells like spices and fried onions from early in the morning. It’s not a big restaurant with white tablecloths or anything like that. It’s more of a local kitchen where we stay busy cooking throughout the day for our neighbors. The kitchen gets really hot, especially in the summer months when the sun hits the walls. We have a few helpers who keep the cleaning and chopping going while we manage the pots. Sometimes the supply of vegetables is late, and we have to scramble to get everything ready for the lunch rush. We don’t have a fancy menu; we just make what’s good and fresh for the day. The street outside is narrow, so parking is always a headache for anyone visiting from further away. Most of our regulars just walk over from the nearby houses or shops. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time now. We know most of the people on the street by name and they know us. It’s a bit chaotic when the peak hours hit, but we manage to get the plates out eventually. It’s honest cooking for the local folks who want a simple meal. We keep the doors open to let some air in, even if the street noise comes in.
