Kasbah Restaurant

Kasbah is located at 16 - A in Bharat Nagar, right in the New Friends Colony area of New Delhi. This part of town has a certain reputation, but our corner in Bharat Nagar feels very grounded. The restaurant has been here for a while, and it shows in the way the floorboards might creak or how the paint is a little faded in some spots. We don't try to hide that. It’s a place where we cook food and people come to eat it. The kitchen is always the loudest part of the building, with the clatter of pans and the chefs shouting out orders. In the dining area, we keep the lights a bit lower to make it comfortable. We see a lot of families from the neighborhood and people who have been coming here for years. It is not a place where you feel like you have to dress up just to get a meal. The staff is mostly local, and they know the menu inside out because they see it every day. Outside, New Friends Colony is always buzzing, especially in the evenings when everyone is out looking for dinner. We just keep the doors open and do our thing. There isn’t a big marketing team behind us; it is just us making sure the tables are wiped down and the food goes out hot. It is a simple, honest restaurant for anyone who walks in.
