This Karims is located at House Number 55 in Chandanhulla, near Patiala Farm. It’s a bit away from the main city rush, which is actually quite nice. We have a kitchen that stays busy from early morning until late at night. You can usually smell the spices before you even see the building. We don't have fancy menus or expensive tablecloths. We focus more on the food and making sure the meat is cooked right. Our staff has been with us for a long time. Some of them have been cooking the same recipes for twenty years. It’s a family kind of feeling here. We aren't trying to be a five-star hotel. We just want to serve a good meal that tastes like it should. The location near Patiala Farm means we get a mix of people coming by. Some are just passing through and others are regulars who live nearby. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and preparing for the next day. It’s hard work being on your feet all day in a hot kitchen. We don't do much advertising. People usually find us because they heard about the food from someone else. It is a simple life here in New Delhi-74. We keep the fires going and the pots full. That is pretty much our whole story. We just show up and cook. We try to treat everyone like they are guests in our own home.
