Kapur Guest House

I’ve been running Kapur Guest House for a while now. We’re over at 962/37 in Arun Vihar, right here in Noida. It’s mostly just a regular place where people stay when they’re in town for work or visiting family. It isn’t fancy, but it works for what it is. I spend a lot of time making sure the rooms are tidy and that the water is actually hot in the mornings, which isn't always as easy as it sounds. Sometimes the traffic in Noida gets a bit much, but our spot in Arun Vihar stays pretty quiet compared to the main roads. I usually handle the keys myself and meet everyone at the door. Some stay for just a single night, others stick around for a week while they look for apartments in the city. It’s a lot of laundry and making sure the gate is locked properly at night. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so you get that local feel instead of a cold hotel vibe. My neighbors know me well by now. I try to keep things simple because that’s what people usually need when they’re traveling for business or moving. Just a bed and a decent shower. Sometimes I sit out front and watch the street. It’s a busy life, but it keeps me occupied and I like meeting the travelers who pass through.
