Mori Gate is always full of trucks and people moving spare parts around. Our shop is number 3684 right at the Main Chowk so it is hard to miss if you are looking for it. Kapil Bearing & Agencies has been sitting here for quite a long time now. Inside it is mostly boxes of bearings stacked up to the ceiling in every corner. It gets a bit dusty because of all the heavy traffic outside on the main road. Most of the people who come here are mechanics or guys looking for specific parts for their machines. We spend a lot of time looking through catalogs or checking the old registers to see if we have a particular size in stock. It is a bit of a messy place but we know where everything is kept. Sometimes the phone rings all day with people asking for prices or checking if their order has arrived from the suppliers. I usually sit at the small wooden desk near the front door. The grease from the parts gets on everything but that is just part of the daily work. We usually have a small lunch in the back room while listening to the constant noise of the traffic outside. When the sun goes down and the market starts to quiet a bit we start packing up for the next day. It is just regular work in a very busy part of the city where everyone is trying to get their vehicles or machines running.
