Kanta Die Casters

Down in Street No 16 of the Libaspur Industrial Area, things are always moving. Our place, Kanta Die Casters, is at Factory No 28/31. It’s a loud environment with the machines running and the sound of metal hitting concrete. We don’t have any air conditioning, just big industrial fans that mostly just move the hot air around. The floors are hard and usually have some oil or metal shavings on them. It’s not the kind of place you wear nice clothes to. We get here early before the sun gets too high because the heat from the casting process is a lot to handle. The trucks are always blocking the street outside, making it hard to get in or out sometimes. We’ve been at this spot for years, and the neighbors are all doing similar industrial work. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting molds and checking the parts as they come out of the machines. We don’t have a fancy front office. If you want to talk, you usually have to yell over the noise of the furnace. We take our lunches sitting on whatever stools are free near the back. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. The electricity goes out sometimes, and we just wait it out or use the generator to finish the batch. Libaspur isn't a pretty place, but it's where the work gets done. We focus on the pieces we're making and try to stay on schedule.
