Kalindee Rail Nirman (E) Ltd.

Our office is at D-23 in Guru Nanak Pura, which is over in Modinagar. If you are coming from the main part of Ghaziabad district, it takes a little bit of a drive. We do rail-related work under the name Kalindee Rail Nirman. It’s not the kind of job where you sit in a cool, quiet room all day. There is always a lot of paperwork and planning going on. The building here is simple and we’ve been using it as our base for quite some time. The neighborhood around Guru Nanak Pura is mostly families and some small shops. We try not to make too much noise, but work is work. Sometimes we are out on the tracks and sometimes we are stuck here at the desks. We have a few old fans that keep us cool in the summer heat of Uttar Pradesh. It gets really hot in June, but we just keep going. We don’t have a big PR team writing stuff for us. We just write down what we do and where we are. Dealing with railway projects means things can get complicated with schedules and materials. We just take it one day at a time. The local tea shop knows exactly how we like our tea by now. It’s a plain office where real work gets done. Nothing more, nothing less. We’ve been part of this area for years and plan to stay here for a lot longer. It’s what we know best.
