Kairs Tours And Travels

Our office is on the first floor at 380 Chirag Delhi. It’s an old neighborhood with narrow streets and lots of history. You have to walk up a narrow flight of stairs to get to us. The room is filled with stacks of papers, old travel brochures, and a couple of computers. We have a big window that looks out onto the street. You can see the people shopping and the rickshaws weaving through the traffic. It’s a noisy place, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of the day on the phone or talking to people who drop in to ask about bus tickets or flights. There is a small table where we sit with customers and show them maps. The air conditioner works most of the time, but when it doesn't, we just open the windows and deal with the dust. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while. Everyone in this part of Chirag Delhi knows where we are. We keep a stash of biscuits and some tea for anyone who stays too long. It is a simple business. We don't have fancy uniforms or a lobby. Just some chairs and a desk where we try to help people get where they need to go. The walls are covered with posters of places we’ve never actually been to. It’s just us and the daily work of booking trips for the locals.
