Kairali

Kairali is tucked away in Gurunanakpur, which is a part of Laxmi Nagar here in Delhi. Our address is B-78, and it’s a typical Laxmi Nagar street where houses and offices are all mixed together. The area is famous for being a hub for students and small businesses, so there is always something going on outside our door. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The office isn't very large, so we have to make sure we don’t let the paperwork pile up too high on the desks. We do our work here day in and day out, mostly focusing on the tasks that come with being in this part of the city. Laxmi Nagar 110092 is a place that never really sleeps, so there is a constant hum of scooters and people talking. Sometimes the electricity flickers when the weather gets too hot, but we just keep going. We have a few wooden chairs for visitors and a big desk where most of the planning happens. The walls are a plain off-white, and we have a few plants near the window that we try to remember to water. It’s a very straightforward setup. We don't have any big corporate policies or fancy uniforms. We just show up, do the job, and talk to the people who come in. It’s the kind of place where you can hear the pressure cooker whistling from the apartment next door during lunch time.
