Kafila Tours and Travels is located in New Basti, over in the Kondli area of New Delhi. Our office at A-74 is easy to find if you know the landmark. We’ve been helping people plan their trips for quite some time. It usually starts with a phone call or someone walking in off the street asking about train tickets or car rentals. The walls are covered with old calendars and a few maps that have seen better days. We aren't a big flashy agency with a huge staff. It’s just a few of us who know the roads and the schedules. We spend a lot of time on the phone, arguing with drivers or trying to find a better route for someone going out of town. Kondli is a busy place, so there’s always noise coming in from the street while we work. We don't have a polished sales pitch. If you need to get somewhere, we try to find a way that works. Sometimes things go wrong, like a bus being late, and we have to scramble to fix it. That's just how the travel business is. We drink way too much chai during the day. It’s a lot of talking, a lot of searching on the screen, and hoping the internet stays fast enough to finish a booking. We are just local people trying to make travel a bit easier for our neighbors.
