Our office is in the B 1/2 block of the Safdarjung Development Area. We are quite close to Bhikaji Cama Palace, which is a major landmark for anyone trying to find us. This part of New Delhi is always humming with activity. We have been working out of this space for some years now. It’s a solid building, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you are carrying bags. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, phones, and a lot of maps and schedules pinned to the walls. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just enough for people to know they’ve hit the right spot. The team is small and we’ve all worked together for a long time, so we don't need many formal rules. We just get in, check the messages, and start making calls. The air conditioning struggles a bit when it gets really hot in June, but we have a few extra fans to keep the air moving. Lunch is a communal affair most days, often ordered from the small dhabas nearby. We don't really have a big corporate structure. If a problem comes up, we just sit around the table and talk it through until it’s fixed. It’s a practical way to run things. We are just a local team doing our thing in SDA. We try to keep the paperwork organized, but the desks are usually covered in notes and planners anyway.
