Pradeep Barua runs things here at C-12 in South-X Part One. It’s a busy neighborhood in New Delhi, and our office is right in the middle of all that South Extension action. It’s not a huge place. In fact, it’s quite small and tucked away. We’ve got maps on the walls that are a few years old and desks that are a bit cluttered with tour brochures. Most of the time, we’re just chatting with clients or trying to get someone a better deal on a train ticket. It’s very much a personal kind of business. People come in and we know their names because they’ve been coming to us for years. We don't have a receptionist in a suit. It’s usually just one of us sitting there with a cup of tea. We handle a lot of local travel, but we can do bigger trips too if someone asks. The office can get a bit stuffy when the sun hits the windows in the afternoon, so we keep the fan on high. There are always stacks of paper that need filing, and sometimes the phone rings so much we can’t hear each other. We’re just a small travel shop. We don’t have a big mission or anything like that. We just want to make sure people get their tickets and that the hotel bookings are actually there when they arrive. It’s just honest work in a busy city.
