Junior Project Assistant

This is the office where we work at IIT Delhi, specifically at the Gate Office in Hauz Khas. The address is Samsheer Singh C/O Gate Office. It is a very specific spot on a very large campus. As a junior project assistant, the day is mostly filled with helping out with whatever needs doing for the various projects here. There are a lot of students and professors passing through, and the gate office is always a point of contact for people coming onto the grounds. It is a government-style office, so there are plenty of files, stamps, and registers. We don't have fancy office furniture or modern decor. It’s mostly just old wooden desks and chairs that have been there for years. The atmosphere is academic but also a bit busy with all the administrative tasks. We aren't here to make a big name for ourselves, just to support the work being done at the institute. Hauz Khas is a beautiful area, but we spend most of our time inside the campus walls. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but that is part of the job. We just handle the forms, help visitors find their way, and keep things moving. It’s a quiet kind of work that doesn't get much attention, but it’s important for keeping the project office running properly.
