Junior Captain In F&B Services

Being over at 21, Radhey Puri Ext. in Delhi means we’re right in the middle of a lively neighborhood. My job as a junior captain in the F&B side of things means I’m usually on my feet from morning until night. It’s about managing the tables and making sure the food gets out without any mistakes. We don’t have a massive team, so everyone has to pitch in. Sometimes I’m helping in the back, and other times I’m out front talking to people. Radhey Puri has its own rhythm, and the 110085 area gets pretty crowded in the evenings. The work isn't always easy, and customers can be difficult sometimes, but we just deal with it as it comes. We’ve got a small kitchen and a dining area that we try to keep neat. It’s not a fancy five-star place, just a local spot where people come to eat. I spend a lot of time checking the inventory and making sure the staff knows what’s on the menu for the day. There’s a lot of noise from the street outside, but once you’re inside, it’s all about the service. We’re just a bunch of people trying to make a living in the food business. It’s honest work, and we do our best to keep things moving along smoothly every single shift. Sometimes the plates clatter and the orders get mixed up, but we fix it and keep moving because people are hungry and the clock is ticking.
