The base for Jumbo Tourism is at H No. C-1180 in Sangam Vihar, New Delhi. Sangam Vihar is a massive place and it can be quite a struggle to navigate the streets if you aren't local to the area. Our office is inside the house there, which makes it feel a lot more personal than a standard commercial building. We do tourism work, so we are often surrounded by brochures and printed itineraries that end up all over the place. The 110062 zip code is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s a lively neighborhood, to say the least. There is always something happening right outside the door. Inside, the space is filled with the sound of keyboards and the occasional phone ringing. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone to make us look fancy. It is just us, a few desks, and a lot of work to get through. Sometimes the tea lady comes by and we take a ten-minute break, but otherwise, we are pretty focused on the tourism bookings. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor has some scuffs from moving furniture around, but it feels like home to us. We’ve been at C-1180 for a while now and we know the neighbors. It’s a grounded way to run a business. We just take it one day at a time and try to help people with their trips.
