Our office is tucked away on the second floor of House No-101, Block-M, right here in Laxmi Nagar. It’s Kanika Sharma’s place, and Joy Travels Pvt. Ltd. has set up shop to help people with their trips and tours. Laxmi Nagar is always buzzing, so it’s nice to have this little spot above the street where we can actually hear ourselves think. We handle a bit of everything, from family vacations to quick bus tickets. We aren't a giant company with hundreds of employees. It's just a small team of us who know the travel business pretty well. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking prices and looking at maps. Sometimes a client comes in with a really complicated plan, and we sit around the table trying to piece it together like a puzzle. We don't have a polished receptionist or fancy coffee machines. We just have a few desks and a lot of knowledge about which trains are usually late and which hotels are actually as clean as they look in the photos. We’ve had people coming to us for years because they know we won't try to sell them something they don't need. It’s honest work, and we like the community here in Delhi-92. It feels like home, and helping our neighbors see a bit more of the world is a pretty good way to spend the day.
